　　Mercedes-Benz ranks first in foreign automobile brands on the 2018 motor vehicle complaints list in China, totaling 550 complaints related to down payment, engine, tire, car paint, brake, and suspected fraud, according to the China Consumers Association. As of March 2019, Mercedes-Benz recalled 95,694 defected cars, reported The Paper. BMW and Buick followed as the second and third on the complaints list. After-sales service, contract, and quality took up over 70 percent of the cases. The China Consumers Association reminded consumers to ask for receipts and records during car purchase and maintenance.
