　　【精析】

　　invest除了表示投资外，还可表示“在某方面花费时间、精力或资金等”，请看其在朗文字典中的解释：to use a lot of time， effort etc or spend money in order to make something succeed，其用法为 invest (sth) in sth。

　　expend也有相同的意思，用法为expend sth in/on (doing) sth。
